Screw Haiti, I'm tired of hearing about it.

I'm so over Americans trying to make themselves look good by helping struggling third world Black Nations. There are plenty of people even in America that need help. The mentally ill roam our city streets forced to become homeless because they can't get enough help from the government. But it's not trendy to help them. Let's help Africa, or Haiti. Forget all the other countries that suffer huge losses that America has no interest in.

List of countries hit by earthquakes that America didn't make a huge blown up deal about.
China, 12 May 2008: Up to 87,000 people killed or missing and 370,000 injured.
Pakistan, 8 October 2005: 7.6 magnitude kills 73,000 people leaving millions homeless. Barely remember the news mentioning that one.
26 December 2004: Hundreds of thousands are killed across Asia when an earth quake measuring 9.2 triggered sea surges. Don't remember Time Warner giving me free calls to Asia like they do to Haiti.
India: 26 January 2001: 7.9 hits killing 20,000 people leaving millions homeless. America doesn't care about India though.

Then Haiti. Bunches of people die. The TV never stops talking about it. Billions of dollars are sent to aid them, while Obama tries to halt federal spending. You could buy Haiti for a billion dollars. I'm waiting for Bono and Angelina to get involved now.

Don't get me wrong. It's great to be helping people. But it's horrible to use other peoples misfortunes to promote ourselves or our businesses. Like Time Warners Free Calls to Haiti's scam. They know nobody calls Haiti. They just do it so they look like "good guys" and it's good for business.
